Honor Our Veterans

On May 14, 2025, Operation Honor Guard invites you to make a difference by supporting our annual Day of Giving. This is your chance to ensure that every fallen veteran receives the dignified military honors they deserve. Our volunteer honor guards stand as silent sentinels of respect, but they need your help to continue their vital mission.
**Why Honor Guards Need Your Support -** Honor guard members are veterans who selflessly volunteer to provide military funeral honors for their fallen comrades, serving in all weather conditions without compensation. However, many lack the resources to maintain their operations. Rising costs for essentials like uniforms ($800 per member), equipment, and fuel make it challenging to uphold this sacred tradition. Without support, some communities risk losing the ability to honor veterans with the respect they’ve earned.
How Your Donation Makes an Impact- Your generous contribution will directly fund:
- Uniforms and Gear- Coats, gloves, hats, and rain gear to ensure honor guards look sharp and perform with dignity.
- Equipment: Flags, rifles, and repairs to maintain ceremonial standards.
-Travel Expenses: Fuel to reach funerals, especially for veterans with no family to arrange services.
- Training: Resources to prepare honor guards for their solemn duties.
In 2024, supporters like you helped raise over $225,000.00, enabling honor guards across Central Illinois and East Tennessee to serve at hundreds of funerals. Every dollar stays local, supporting the honor guards in your community.
Act Now – Donate Today! Your gift, no matter the size, honors the sacrifices of those who served and brings comfort to grieving families.
Together, let’s keep the tradition of military honors alive. Thank you for standing with Operation Honor Guard.
